PCSJ MEMBERSHIP
This past year has been both challenging and exciting for PCSJ. We've gained some wonderful new Board Members who have made a positive impact to the organization. Dennis Noren, a long-time PCSJ friend, became our Markham House Chair and after doing so initiated new programming including Poets@Play at Markham House and docented tour on the First Tuesday of every month.
Dennis Richardson, another long-time friend, became our volunteer coordinator and along with his wife, Christine, over see the very popular Willow Glen Readings every month.
Our challenge has been the economy. New regulations for grants and funding have made it harder to fund our events and to maintain the Markham House. Annual giving is significantly down. As a small non-profit run by volunteers, we need your support now more than ever to help bring the programming and events to the greater San Jose area that we have been proud to provide over the past 30+ years.
We've made it easier to join by expanding and amending our Membership levels. We have introduced a Basic Student level to allow students of all ages to support PCSJ and obtain Membership benefits. We have reduced prices for Senior, Individual, and Family levels.
For your convenience, we accept and encourage on-line donations. Please note that a Paypal account is not necessary, and credit and debit cards are accepted. If you have a Paypal account linked to your checking account, you can pay that way as well!
